Crítica

Since its founding in 1976, Crítica has maintained its mission to build a critical and free-thinking culture by publishing classic works of Spanish literature and contemporary titles. Through its catalog, which now includes more than two thousand titles, Crítica brings topics such as philosophy, history, archaeology, politics, anthropology, economics, and scientific outreach to a wide audience.

Since becoming part of Grupo Planeta in 1999, Crítica embarked on a new chapter that has solidified its position in the Spanish-language publishing world, attracting new generations of readers eager to understand and engage with the world around them.

With over two thousand titles published, Crítica was honored in 2007 with the National Award for Best Cultural Publisher granted by the Ministry of Culture.
